The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and timely completion of audits, while maintaining strong client relationships and providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee audit engagements, ensuring quality and timely completion of all work
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for audit-related matters
- Lead and mentor audit teams, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards
- Identify and communicate potential audit issues to clients, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards
- Assist with the development and implementation of audit policies and procedures
- CPA certification
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in External Audit, including experience as an Audit Manager or Audit Senior
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience in Manufacturing, Telecommunication, Construction, Employee Benefit Plans, Non-profit, Government Audit, or Healthcare Audit
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
