We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate Permanent Attorney specializing in Personal Injury to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of personal injury cases and provide exceptional legal services to our clients. This role is crucial in representing our clients who have been victims of personal injury, ensuring that they receive the compensation they deserve.
Responsibilities
1. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in personal injury cases.
2. Conduct legal research and gather evidence for personal injury lawsuits, ensuring all relevant facts are considered in a case.
3. Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
4. Advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
5. Negotiate settlements for personal injury cases, including arbitration and mediation, to avoid court litigation when possible.
6. Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
Qualifications
1. Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must have a valid license to practice law.
3. Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, specifically in personal injury law.
4. Proven experience in arbitration, mediation, and trial practice.
5. Extensive knowledge of courtroom procedures, rules of evidence, and local jurisdiction.
6. Excellent research and report-writing skills.
7. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
