Associate Veterinarian - VetProCentral

Cedar Plaza Vet Inc is a 2 location, AAHA accredited, family owned small animal hospital. We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to our animal patients and support their owners with compassion and expertise. Our collaborative and close-knit team culture is ideal for experienced DVMs while also providing an excellent environment for training new DVMs.

Duties:

- Perform medical examinations on various animals including dogs, cats, and other small pets

- Diagnose illnesses and recommend appropriate treatment plans.

- Conduct surgeries and dental procedures as needed - Administer vaccinations and medications

- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's health and treatment options

- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients

- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to ensure quality patient care

Qualifications:

-Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school - State veterinary license in good standing

- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and laboratory procedures

- Active DEA license

- Experience in animal catheterization, handling, husbandry, and kennel management

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

Pay: $150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
