This Role is Summary
Whirlpool is currently seeking anAssociate, Training & Development. This role will be located onsite in Benton Harbor Experience Center, Benton Harbor, MI.
In this role you will manage the learning and onboarding process for new hires and upskill training of existing employees.
Your responsibilities will include
• Review and Rehearse Content
• Deliver Teachbacks and engage in Roleplay, when necessary
• Develop Creative Presentation Strategies
• Develop Class Schedule based on Master Training Schedule & predefined requirements
• Create and invite all Learners to Zoom meeting
• Develop Google Classroom based on Master Google Classroom & predefined requirements
• Verify the Learner has been granted appropriate access before class starts and resolve as needed
• Assign appropriate eLearnings before class start based on the Master Schedule
• Conduct New Hire and Specialty Training on a frequent and consistent basis
• Demonstrate the ability to facilitate both in person and virtually for up to 8 hours per day
• Apply techniques to command attention confidently
• Ask probing and thought-provoking questions
• Adapt presentation style to Learners
• Exhibit the ability to recognize group dynamics and behavioral styles
• Utilize active listening
• Demonstrate the ability to change tactics midstream when something isn't working
• Set and maintain or adjust the pace of class based on the Learners' needs
• Deliver materials as designed and maintain the integrity of content
• Apply conflict resolution strategies to difficult situations
• Relay complex ideas in a variety of situations
• Utilize conflict resolution and willingness to compromise to come to a solutionDeliver content confidently and accurately with minimal turnaround time
• Administer End of Course Surveys to aid in the development of Facilitation skills and content
• Track coaching and communicate Learners' opportunities and strengths to Operations
• Provide direct and timely feedback
• Travel on an as-needed basis (to Benton Harbor, MI/Cleveland, TN, or to an educational/developmental event at a location yet to be determined)
Minimum requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year(s) Experience in Facilitation (Virtual or in person)

- Associate Degree or actively pursuing degree
