About the Job
The Field HR Associate Manager will champion the Pizza Hut employee experience by partnering with franchise operations teams to deliver HR and training support across equity restaurants. This role focuses on building people capability through engaging HR and training initiatives, identifying talent, and fostering career development. You will collaborate with leadership to drive people strategies that enhance performance, development, and culture in alignment with business objectives.

- Talent Development & Bench Planning: Create and manage a bench plan to support recruitment, growth, training, and learning agendas for equity restaurants.
- Team Development & Career Pathing: Partner with managers to identify high-potential employees, develop their skills, and support career advancement. Contribute to the bench planning process.
- Training Leadership: Collaborate with Area Coaches and RGMs to appoint and guide training captains in executing restaurant learning programs, including new hire training, development programs, and product launches.
- Employee Engagement & Learning: Monitor the success of development plans, ensure team members maximize learning opportunities, and execute engagement and culture initiatives to reinforce Pizza Hut's core values.
- Leadership Development: Lead and facilitate leadership development programs for Restaurant General Managers (RGMs) and Above Restaurant Leaders (ARLs), both virtually and in-person.
- People Leadership: This role will have one direct report, with the potential to expand upon the portfolio of restaurants growing.
- Strategic HR Partner: Provide insights to the Head of Equity and Human Resources, driving strategic ideas and aligning HR/OD initiatives with business goals to strengthen brand development and performance.
- HR Expertise: 6-8 years of HR experience, in a multi-site, field-based environment (retail, hospitality, or restaurant experience is a plus).
- Employee Relations & Investigations: Strong background in managing employee relations, conducting investigations, performance management and improvement and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Relationship Building: Proven ability to influence, build trust, and manage relationships with diverse personalities across varying levels of authority.
- Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to drive results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a strategic, action-oriented approach.
- Leadership & Visibility: High visibility in restaurants, including weekends and evenings; able to manage multiple priorities with tenacity and focus.
- Customer Service & Execution Excellence: Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to urgency, accountability, and teamwork to achieve executional excellence.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
- Passionate about employee development and building an inclusive, engaged culture.
- Proficient in HR systems and tools to track and report on training and development initiatives.
- Field-based role with regular travel to equity restaurants.
- Occasional weekend and evening hours as required.
