Job Description
The Associate Director of Health Promotion collaborates as a member of the Counseling Center and Health Services staff within the Division of Student Life. This position is responsible for advancing Siena College's strategic initiative of developing the whole person by developing and implementing comprehensive, evidence-based wellness initiatives and campus programming around physical health, healthy lifestyle choices, anxiety & stress reduction, healthy relationships, grief & loss, alcohol & other drug use prevention. Educational programming (passive and active) are essential components of this role for consistent messaging across campus, and the Associate Director serves as a resource and collaborator for on- and off-campus partners to address these issues.
Annual Salary: $ 55,850.00 – Full Time, 11- month position

Job Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of current and emerging alcohol and other drug issues, prevention strategies and evidence-based practice for college students;
- Experience creating health & wellness-related programming for students
- Demonstrated experience in college prevention program planning and implementation
- Evidence of excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong public speaking, interpersonal and public relations skills;
- Master's degree required in Public Health, Higher Education, Nursing, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
- A background screening will be required.
