Associate, Credit Risk w/ Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Dallas, Texas. Assess the credit and financial strength of counterparts by performing fundamental credit analysis of both quantitative and qualitative credit factors. Perform counterparty reviews, including recommending appropriate internal risk rating for each counterparty and setting credit limits. Requires: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master’s degree) or three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with: reviewing and underwriting asset-backed structured financing products, including Warehouse Financing, Variable Funding Notes, and Term Loans; reviewing and underwriting loans secured by various asset categories including residential mortgages, consumer loans, commercial receivables, corporate loans, and indirect Commercial Real Estate; reviewing and underwriting commercial real estate loans, including loans for distribution in conduit Commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), loans for distribution in Single Asset Single Borrower (SASB) CMBS, portfolio financings, construction loans, acquisition facilities, and balance sheet loans; reviewing and underwriting loan-on-loan financing of loans to be financed in warehouse facilities for Commercial real estate (CRE) loan originators; reviewing and underwriting loans to Real estate investment trusts (REITs), real estate operating companies (REOCs), and real estate funds; reviewing and approving loans on various property types, including office, retail, multifamily, affordable multifamily, industrial, hotel, and data centers; regulatory risk rating requirements and application of such guidance; financial modeling; advanced Microsoft Excel including working with macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and IF/AND formulas; and data visualization tools including Tableau.
