Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Associate Attorney, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Representing clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in criminal or civil litigation.
2. Negotiating settlements of civil disputes in a manner that best serves the client’s interests.
3. Conducting legal research and gathering evidence.
4. Preparing and drafting a variety of legal documents, such as lawsuits, contracts, and appeals.
5. Providing legal advice to clients on their rights and responsibilities.
6. Developing and managing client relationships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
7. Prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously, and following through on issues in a timely manner.
8. Participating in depositions and making court appearances.
9. Working collaboratively with the legal team to ensure a seamless client experience.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on legal disputes, contract negotiation, and client advocacy.
3. Experience with depositions, court appearances, and trial experience.
4. Strong ability to prioritize work assignments and projects to meet deadlines.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Strong sense of urgency and excellent problem-solving skills.
7. Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer experience and maintaining strong client relationships.
8. Strong understanding and adherence to legal principles and procedures, including a comprehensive understanding of the rules of evidence.
9. Must be a member in good standing with the state bar.
10. Ability to handle high levels of confidentiality, adapt to change, and function in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
