The Role in Brief:
Associate Account Manager
The Associate Account Manager role works in partnership with internal teams and partners to execute direct marketing strategies for student recruitment initiatives and directly supports one of three teams within EAB. This is a great opportunity for the passionate, detail-oriented and motivated person who wishes to further their career interests in higher education, marketing or professional services and gain experience in using data-driven insights to develop innovative approaches that help higher education partners achieve their enrollment, financial aid optimization and alumni fundraising goals. This position is for professionals with 0 to 1 year of work experience who are interested in learning the business, our products and services, while assisting our departments with a variety of tasks and projects and desire to be in a partner facing role.
This hire will be based in Richmond, VA.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Acquire knowledge of the business and our partners, products and services
- Assist account managers and perform tasks to support teams
- Help prepare for partner meetings
- Attend partner calls and document notes in partner relationship management system
- Help draft and send written partner communications
- Assist with internal creative review of partner campaigns and campaign deployment
- Provide coverage for Account Manager when out of the office
- Own and execute administrative tasks daily in support of partner marketing campaigns; coordinate and schedule meetings
- Perform partner and account maintenance in internal systems
- Other duties as assigned
At EAB, Associate Account Managers work on one of three teams:
- Our Enroll360 Team utilizes an ecosystem of best-in-class enrollment solutions to help colleges and universities expand their reach and engage more right-fit students.
- Our Adult Learner Recruitment Team combines strategic support with custom lead generation and responsive, choreographed marketing campaigns at scale to help partners meet graduate and adult enrollment goals.
- Our Advancement Team delivers to partners a personalized donor experience, increased levels of giving, and expands advancement staff productivity.
Team placement is determined by business need at time of hire.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 0-1+ years of work experience
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Organization skills with a proven ability to meet conflicting deadlines
- Passion to serve partners and learn/grow/develop within Partner Success
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ideal Qualifications:
- Concentration in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field
- 1-2+ years of work experience
- Efficient, resourceful, and curious
- Ability to work in a team setting in a fast-paced environment
- Personable, approachable, helpful – a team player
- Ability to approach situations in an entrepreneurial way and find opportunity for improvement/change
- Direct marketing or partner relationships experience
- Desire for professional growth and upward mobility within a growing company

Compensation:
The anticipated starting salary for this role is $46,000 per year.
