Providing training and career development opportunities and emphasizing strong support for our local communities through philanthropic initiatives are essential to our culture.For additional information please visit our website at ResponsibilitiesThis position of Platform Specialist within Information Solutions will lead efforts to maximize how Oaktree uses its proprietary and non-proprietary technology while optimizing business processes within the technology.Responsibilities include:Collaborate with business users on how best to optimize the end-to-end business processes for proprietary Funding Approval system and vendor product TMSCollaborate with technology on how best to optimize the technology platform for the business processes.Develop a super user community / center of excellence for the technology platforms within the business to minimize key person risk and standardize business process and technology usage.Act as a high-level subject matter expert of both the business processes and technical detail within the platform to improve the time to market on technology solutions.Drive training (planning and delivery) to ensure users are maximizing the capabilities of the platform.Facilitate QA and UAT efforts by driving test case definition to reduce the number of bugs in production.Facilitate the prioritization of the resolution of bugs and enhancements to the platform to manage capacity across teams.Understand business and technology interdependencies across the platform to ensure robust technology solution delivery.Facilitate the implementation of large technology projects including applications upgrades across the platform in collaboration with counterparts across the business and IT.Collaborate with the Enterprise Data team to establish and maintain governance / standards around data within the platform to improve data qualityEngage with peer firms and external providers to ensure Oaktree is keeping pace with leading practice and leveraging the most relevant capabilities of the technology platform.QualificationsMinimum of 7 years’ experience in finance technology implementations (TMS experience preferred)Knowledge of treasury management and cash managementKnowledge of deal workflows is a plusProven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining order of priority and self-initiating other value-added tasksA demonstrated ability to influence others at all levels in a very collaborative wayShown ability to coordinate across large teams and gain consensusKnowledge of Hazeltree or other TMS preferred.Experience implementing workflow tools preferred.Experience in the areas of project management, financial management and change managementExperience working on developing vision or strategy, and any experience with innovation is a plusSuperb communications skills; andProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, MS Sharepoint/Teams or equivalent applications.EducationBachelor’s degree required.Base Salary Range$140,000 - $170,000In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work arrangement.
