About the Job
THE POSITION
This position's key responsibilities include:
- Meets all retail performance standards including operating loss control and ensures compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Assists Store Manager with implementing strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability. Works with Store Manager to ensure all business goals and metrics are met.
- Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved timely, and service is quick and efficient.
- Coaches, mentors and trains employees as needed. Manages employees in absence of the Store Manager.
- Oversees all Retail Store Operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Is a charismatic leader. You know how to lead and inspire a team. You have experience coaching and engaging others to follow your direction.
- Aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and work alongside your team. You understand that we succeed or fail as a team. You are always ready to step beyond your responsibilities to go the extra mile to ensure that your team is successful.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior supervisory and retail experience is preferred.
- If hired full time, you would be required to attend a full-day orientation at our Administration Office location in Buffalo.
Goodwill regularly evaluates our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. Starting pay will be based on a candidate's experience, skills and education.
- The pay range for this position is $17.00/hr$22.00/hr
