Rose Valley Management, the property management arm of Rose Valley Capital, a Brooklyn based fully vertically integrated property investment and management firm, is seeking an Assistant Property & Compliance Manager to join our team.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Rockstar Full-Time Assistant Property & Compliance Manager to add to our growing team! This position will support the company in all aspects of property management and daily operations with our New York City Portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring electronic applications and supporting leasing documents are completed and accurate
Ensure compliance with program regulatory requirements (e.g., LIHTC, Section 8, and other programs), and Fair Housing Standards
Stay current and knowledgeable on all fair housing regulations as well as updates and changes to tenant landlord law and program changes
Familiar with NYC housing agencies including HPD, DHCR, Section 8, SCRIE, ECB and DOB.
Assisting with resident related matters including rent collections and booking (correspondence via mail and phone), leasing (new and renewals), repair issues and security deposits
Assist the team by maintaining and modeling Rose Valley’s mission to provide the highest level of service
Assist with monthly variance reports, budgets, forecasts and annual operating expense reconciliations
Act as a liaison between ownership and residents, drafting and distributing communications
Performs internal audits of tenant files
Assist with inputting information into RealPage’s OneSite property management database

Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years in Property Management
Knowledge/experience in new development as it comes to market with an understanding of 421A and rent stabilization laws in NYC a plus
Previous experience with government-assisted and subsidized housing programs
Hands-on experience in day-to-day operations, maintenance programs, and leasing activities
Strong communication skills and computer proficiency
NYS Salesperson or Broker license a plus
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment and requires a minimum of three (3) days in-office.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 plus Bonus
