Job Description Summary:
Assist in the management of multiple projects while providing advice to the Project Manager. Help coordinate projects, schedules, and track the progress of projects and report their results.
Salary Range: $75,000 -125,000
Responsibilities:
- Help oversee a construction project from start tofinish
- Manage day-to-day project activities including the POD and timesheets
- Assist in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resourcesneeded
- Work with project manager to ensure understanding of all project activities, schedules and deliverables
- Help to manage client responsibilities andexpectations
- Work with management to develop the objectives/goals of each member and assign individual responsibilities
- Ensure that construction activities move according to pre-determinedschedule
- Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regularbasis
- Effective time management and logical decision-makingability
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to multitask and maintain effectiveness with multiplepriorities
- Professional demeanor; remain calm and emotionally controlled underpressure
- Ability to follow directions and take initiative whenrequired
- Excellent communication, accounting and organizationalskills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office andTimberline
- A basic to good understanding of construction means andmethods
- Basic understanding/proficiency with spreadsheets, Email and other software used in the constructionindustry.
- Completed OSHA ET&DTraining
Physical Demands:
- Field visits to the jobsite
Education and/or Work Experience:
At least one of the following:
- Degree inEngineering/Construction Management
- Construction Management with 1-2 years of experience with a commercial and/or Industrial generalcontractor;
- 2+ years of directly related experience with nodegree
