We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to engage with a variety of construction projects. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be a vital part of our team, providing support to the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects. You will have the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, both residential and commercial, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality and sustainable construction solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Assisting the Project Manager in planning and coordinating construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Drafting and reviewing subcontractor agreements, ensuring all terms and conditions align with project objectives and company policies.
3. Participating in project meetings, providing updates on project progress, and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
4. Ensuring that all construction activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
5. Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including plans, reports, and schedules.
6. Coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
7. Identifying potential project risks and working with the Project Manager to develop mitigation strategies.
8. Assisting in the management of project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
9. Contributing to the continuous improvement of project management processes and practices.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on project management.
3. Proven experience in drafting and reviewing subcontractor agreements.
4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
5. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. A strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
9. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of construction project management.
