Stetson School is seeking a dedicated Assistant Program Director to lead a compassionate team providing high-quality care for children in a therapeutic residential setting. This leadership role is essential in ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and positive outcomes for students.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support management and direct care staff Ensure a safe, therapeutic environment adhering to Stetson School’s standards Oversee Individual Support Plans (ISP) and therapeutic programming Promote positive family engagement and community integration Coordinate staff training, development, and performance evaluations Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards Manage program documentation, reporting, and audits Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support student progress Lead team meetings and provide effective conflict resolution

Qualifications

Associate's degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred 4+ years of experience in treatment or management of youth Supervisory experience in a residential or treatment setting Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills Familiarity with licensing regulations and therapeutic models CPR/First Aid and MAP certification (or willingness to obtain) Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
