Shenandoah University is a private institution of approximately 4000students located in the historic and scenic Shenandoah Valley. TheDivision of Applied Technology is home to new undergraduate engineeringand artificial intelligence programs, established majors in computer science,cyber security, data science, information technology, mathematics, andvirtual reality, and a graduate cybersecurity program. The university’s Hubfor Innovators, Veterans, and Entrepreneurs (HIVE) opening in 2024, willhost dedicated laboratory and collaboration spaces supporting many of ourtechnology and business programs.
Shenandoah University’s Office of Arts and Sciences is accepting applications for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science. This is a full-time benefited position located on our main campus in Winchester, Virginia.
We seek a knowledgeable, energetic, and creative faculty member tobecome part of our university community and to contribute to thesuccess and growth of our technology programs. Teachingresponsibilities include four courses per semester with the potentialfor research release time.Teaching undergraduate courses in support of our computer science, cyber security, and information technology programs. University and division service. Research and professional development.
