Sushi Marquee is the first of its kind, guest will be transported visually back to the days of 80s and 90s movie nostalgia. Movie posters from the films we all know and love, movie clips from some of the most famous live action stars, and a live element from our team members that every guest will be talking about long after they are gone!The Assistant Manager is responsible creating exceptional guest experiences through leading your teams to drive profitable sales. He or she will assist the General Manager in the day-to-day restaurant operations and in managing the staff. These duties will include executing company policies, procedures, and programs.
Common Restaurant Manager Job Duties
Managers will regularly stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, turn, lift, talk, walk, walk on uneven ground, carry and lift up to fifty (50) pounds. Team lift is required for anything over twenty-five (25) pounds or any awkward lifting.

Common Restaurant Manager Job Duties
- Oversees and manages all areas of the restaurant
- Ensures guest service meets company standards and customer satisfaction is maintained
- Respond to customer complaints, taking appropriate action to solve the problem
- Staff, train and develop floor managers and hourly employees through orientations, ongoing feedback and by conducting performance reviews
- Closely monitor the safety of the restaurant guests and staff through execution of food safety and restaurant safety standards and guidelines
- Lead all financial areas including sales growth, cost management, and profit growth
- Have a good working knowledge of all equipment and efficiently takes care of preventative maintenance
- Excellent leaders with great people skills
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound decision making and problem solving
- High level of initiative
- Time management and deadline oriented
- Ability to multitask
- Restaurant experience in management in food service
- Minimum education: High school diploma or higher
- Preferred education: Associate's degree or higher in Hospitality or Food Service
