About the Job
The Assistant Manager contributes to the success of Chick-fil-A Layton Hills Mall by assisting the Operations Manager in executing restaurant's daily operations and requirements. This job includes hands-on execution, deploying team members, and delegating tasks to enable a high performance team environment to deliver outstanding service for all our guests everyday.
Requirements:
- Participating operationally in day to day activities in high-volume fast-paced restaurant.
- Offer the Team encouragement to stay true to 2nd Mile Service goals.
- Offer immediate/respectful response to Guest's and Team Member needs.
- Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift and act as a role model for our team.
- Be a friendly encouraging team player
- Entry level leadership position
- Excellent Communication Skills both written and spoken.
- Availability to work 25 – 30 hours per week minimum
- Prior experience is preferred as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant assistant manager are very helpful to the success at this job.

Responsibilities
● Ensures food safety standards are understood and followed in each area of the restaurant
● Responsible for hiring and firing
● Ensures employer brand promise is upheld and delivered
● Oversees leadership development for the restaurant
● Forward looking to future needs of the business to ensure the restaurant is properly staffed
● Ensures FOH schedule is being done correctly and monitors weekly labor numbers
● Oversee speed of service as it pertains to FOH
● Responsible for accurate money procedures (InForm, drawer counting, etc)
● Ensures each guest has a positive experience and monitors CEM scores with guest experience manager.
