Oversees the daily Cage and Credit operations on the Casino floor for an assigned shift in the absence of a Shift Manager Cage. Enforces Casino regulatory rules and regulations, Casino internal controls and accounting controls in order to safeguard the company’s assets. Monitors business demands and makes necessary scheduling and staffing adjustments. Assists in the management of day-to-day operation of the Cages to include training, counseling, and supervision of employees. Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with all departments. Handles guest service and employee related issues with composure and professionalism. Processes daily payroll for the department. Responsible for the maintenance of the Lottery machines. Assumes the role of hiring manager by pre-screening and interviewing all Cashier Cage and Shift Supervisor Cage applicants. Maintains and tracks violations related to attendance and cash variances to ensure proper documentation is prepared and issued. Processes monthly collections and applies payments to patron accounts. Performs other related duties as assigned. Must possess excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment. Promotes superior guest service. Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
Qualifications
Two years of Casino Cage supervisory experience in a high volume, complex Casino environment and basic computer input skills preferred. Must have a thorough knowledge of Casino regulatory rules and regulations and Casino internal and accounting control procedures. Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours. Must be able to qualify for and maintain licensure as required by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. Must have thorough knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program
