We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager/Golf Operations Manager to support golf operations at Blue Spring Golf Club. This position will come with a full benefits package to include Medical, Dental and Vision coverage as well as Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay. Salary: $45K to $48K Annually plus commissions
Job Description:
Plans, promotes and directs all golf activities in effort to positively impact the guest experience while driving reach, rounds, and revenue. Ensures every dollar spent, or saved, is done with a purpose, with a reason, and with a motivation to make a positive business impact.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implements company's Golf Tee Sheet Approach including inventory, pricing and rate channel analysis.
- Actively Grows email, social media and text contact databases.
- Targets new customers and groups for rounds
- Develops new player business strategies
- Hires and trains all quality staff which may pertain to certain departments or all depending on the size of the operation
- Implements company's strategic reporting
- Focuses on delivering a high-quality consistent member, customer and/or guest experience
- Orders, tracks, receives, and counts inventory
- Responsible for presentation and overall processes surrounding the cart fleet, practice facility, Pro Shop, and Pro Shop/Golf Operations staff
- Can handle and direct tournaments & outings
- Delivers a full-scale sales & marketing plan that includes but is not limited to:
- Market Evaluations
- Tee Sheet Management
- Using active databases to extend reach profile
- Implements necessary key GLG initiatives
- Handles all social media platforms, websites and email communication
- Able to develop and produce high quality marketing pieces
- Handles all responsibilities of membership including tracking, sales, retention and collection.
- Responsible for overall Financial Performance
- Responsible for development and implementation of budgets

Degree/Licenses:
Bachelors degree; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
