Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - Senior Living
Job Description:
Are you an experienced nursing professional with a passion for leadership in senior living? We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our exceptional team. This role is crucial in ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Supervision: Oversee and manage nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members.
- Resident Care Management: Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain and enhance the quality of care through regular audits, compliance with healthcare regulations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Crisis Management: Efficiently handle emergency situations and provide direction and support to staff during critical times.
- Administrative Duties: Assist the Director of Nursing in budgeting, staffing, and policy development. Manage schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and participate in hiring processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role within a senior living or long-term care setting.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
