Position Summary:
The Assistant Director of Nursing will work, together with the Director of Nursing to ensure quality care and outstanding customer service to all patients and their families, as well as create and maintain great employee relationships among staff.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Work with the Director of Nursing in attracting and retaining top-performing, talented team members
- Direct, oversee and evaluate nursing personnel (registered nurses, LPN etc.)
- Organize and coordinate admission, nursing and patient care procedures
- Develop and enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high-quality standards
- Resolve issues and deficiencies when needed
- Collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operations
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
Qualifications:
- Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively
- Desire to enrich resident and staff's lives 1+ year supervisory experience
- Must have a current, unencumbered RN license valid in Missouri
- Demonstrated ability to maintain positive employee relationships
- Ability to follow all applicable policies and procedures as well as current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long term care facilities
- Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required
- Must be able to relate information concerning a patient/resident’s condition
