Purpose:
Responsible for the implementation and performance of Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), and Distributor contracts for Astellas product(s). Build processing model, develop guidelines for reporting/analysis, collaborate with account managers to monitor contract performance & terminate non-performing contracts. The incumbent will support the lifecycle of the Retina GPO and Distributor contracts, including: 1) Review, edit and propose contract language and amendments pertaining to data collection and measurement of key performance indicators (in collaboration with the account management team and contracting team) with Astellas vendors and customers to minimize unfavorable business terms and risk to the company; 2) Collaborate with account managers to analyze contract compliance, take necessary actions to improve performance or terminate underperforming contracts; and 3) Responsible for all aspects of GPO data, analytics, and reporting; ensuring the dissemination of accurate, reliable, timely, and actionable information to actively support and improve business decisions. Collaborate with our copromote business partners to align on data, reporting metrics, and support of the GPO team efforts. Support efforts to monitor, identify, obtain and actively utilize quantitative information required to support corporate objectives.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
+ Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all aspects of Oncology GPOs; including contracting, reporting, and analytics for Xtandi, Xospata, Padcev, and zolbe.
+ Collaborate with the Data Governance team in supporting data acquisition for GPO and other vendors in support of Xtandi, Xospata, Padcev, Izervay, Vyloy, and future product launches.
+ Author proposal development for Retina GPOs in collaboration with the MAx account management team. Obtain appropriate signoffs from Strategic Pricing Committee.
+ Taking the lead for assigned accounts, the Assistant Director will review, edit and propose contract language in amendments pertaining to data collection and measurement of key performance indicators (in collaboration with the account management team) with Retina GPOs to minimize unfavorable business terms and risk to the company. Proactively collaborates with Legal to ensure timely review of proposed changes in contract language.
+ Lead the analytical and reporting processes for all assigned GPOs to achieve organizational goals.
+ Business champion for technology solutions related to GPO and Distributor data and reporting. Interacts with Astellas Account Management team to understand current and future needs of data reporting.
+ Partner with stakeholders and Information Systems to implement and automate models into day-to-day business decision making.
+ Serve as the business owner and main point of contact for Astellas EDI aggregation vendor. Monitor Specialty Pharmacy, GPO, and Channel Account performance to all established key performance standards and report standings to leadership team on a monthly basis.
+ Lead cross-functional reporting processes that create mutual understanding of overall data parameters and certify deliverables for common objectives.
+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine Specialty Distributor, Wholesaler, and GPO reporting needs. Create and distribute assigned dashboards.
+ Manage contract data and reporting requirements to ensure data reporting adhere to contract terms and conditions for current on market brands and future launches.
+ Responsible for all aspects of invoicing, budgeting and forecast updates related to GPO data purchase.
Qualifications Required:
+ College degree in a business discipline.
+ Minimum of 5-10 years prior experience in Specialty Pharmacy, GPO, and/or Distributor analysis and negotiations in a pharmaceutical industry.
+ Prior experience in contract analysis, financial modeling, planning & analysis is highly desirable.
+ Ability to analyze/interpret contract language and identify risks to the company.
+ Advanced MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills; Qlikview is desirable.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service commitment, orientation to detail, ability to interact across all levels of management.
+ Ability to work in: fast paced, cross-functional teams; make presentations & recommendations to senior management and leadership teams.
+ Matrix management skills.
+ Proven analytical and quantitative skills.
+ Proven oral and written, communication skills.
+ Strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Compensation Range: $140,000 - 187,000 (NOTE: Final Salary could be more or less, based on experience.)
