Assistant Accounting Manager - Financial Reporting - Inceed

Compensation: $125,000 - $145,000

Location: Denver, Colorado

Position: Assistant Accounting Manager - Financial Reporting 

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Assistant Accounting Manager - Financial Reporting to join their team!

The role involves leading the defined contribution plan accounting, overseeing budget and financial allocations, and managing a team of skilled professionals. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and implementing improvements to increase efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership and technical skills who is eager to drive innovation and accuracy in financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of defined contribution plan accounting, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and maintaining accurate financial reporting

• Manage budget transactions and monthly Combined Operating Fund (COF) allocation processes, including account analysis and reconciliations

• Prepare and review financial reports, including assigned sections of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR)

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

• Nine+ years of progressive general ledger accounting and/or auditing experience

• Two+ years of supervisory experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• CPA licensure

• Experience with public pension, finance, or government accounting

• Proficiency with PeopleSoft Financials and nVision
