Assembly Technician - Spherion

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for individuals who demonstrate consistent attendance and an excellent work ethic. CURRENT OPENINGS ARE ON 2ND AND 3RD SHIFTS.

Shift Options & Pay Rates:
1st Shift: 5:30 AM - 4:00PM | Starting aq $14.50/hr
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM | Starting at $15.50/hr
3rd Shift: 7:00 PM - 5:30 AM | Starting at $15.50/hr
(Work Monday-Thursday, with overtime on Fridays and Saturdays as needed)

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to various stages of the assembly process, including cutting, laminating, machine operation, hardware installation, and final quality checks
• Utilize hand tools such as impacts, drills, mallets, and other equipment to complete tasks with precision and efficiency
• Assist in preparing finished products for shipping, ensuring items are packed securely and ready for delivery
• Collaborate with other departments as needed to meet production goals and maintain workflow

Skills:

• Experience in construction or similar industries
• A knack for mechanical tasks and problem-solving

Qualifications:

• A commitment to following detailed instructions and maintaining high-quality standards
• Physical stamina to perform tasks such as standing for 10+ hours, bending, twisting, and occasionally lifting up to 40 lbs
• Reliable transportation to maintain an excellent attendance record
• Positive attitude and a team-oriented approach to your work
• Must be at least 18 years of age
