Assembly Production Manager - Jettison

Job Summary

Lead and optimize the Assembly Department, balancing operational and managerial duties. Ensure alignment with company standards, quality requirements, and production schedules. This role demands strong leadership, organizational skills, and a hands-on approach.

1st Shift - typical hours 6:00 am - 3:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:

Recruit, train, and develop team members, including Lead Operators

Manage Assembly Capacity Plan and communicate timelines effectively

Create and oversee Daily and Weekly Job Boards to meet production demands

Develop and implement Daily Production Plans

Liaise between Assembly and other departments (e.g., production, scheduling)

Promote 5S and LEAN methodologies for workplace efficiency and safety

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience

5+ years of work experience, including 2+ years in leadership

Manufacturing experience, preferably in print or print converting

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn ERP systems

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
