The Assembly Mechanic 1 is responsible for building low to medium complexity assemblies. The ideal candidate will be able to produce parts which have already completed first articles verification; Collaborate with other Assembly Mechanics to produce medium complexity assemblies, and is capable of the bonding and fabrication of a majority of subcomponents and lower-level detail parts. Assembly Mechanic 1 Responsibilities: - Learn to problem solve and troubleshoot producibility challenges; - Build low to medium complexity assemblies and lower level detail parts; - Exposure to processes within potting and bonding work center (Fill and fair, install insert and edge pot); - Exposure to custom fabrication of parts, applying décor per finish requirements; - With minimal assistance perform complex repairs on components as required by the customer; - Exposure with shop equipment drill motors, pneumatic tools, band saws, drill presses, various tool grinders, Rivet gun and bucking bar, C-squeeze, ratchet wrench, nut runner; - Exposure in use of Chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints and special finishes; - Exposure to electrical and structural part drawings; - Other duties as assigned **Complementary Description** Safran Cabin headquarters are in Huntington Beach, California, with a global presence of over 11,000 employees at 36 sites.
