Job Description:
This position will be responsible for monitoring and improving our final assembly lines. This includes monitoring and interpreting KPI and planning a priority-based approach to the continuous improvement of the assembly line – from development of new processes through production support for existing products already released to manufacturing. You will have the opportunity to improve existing final assembly processes and will be working with other engineers and technicians, manufacturing engineering, manufacturing, and design engineering on projects as well as directly with production floor personnel.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
- Monitoring, interpreting, and reporting all KPI for production line (OEE, Machine Uptime, Defects, Etc.).
- Optimize the manufacturing process by improving OEE and Defects.
- Support plant maintenance staff in the event of a down machine.
- Support the cross functional improvement teams as needed.
- Experience with PLC programming (Keyence/Allen Bradley)
- Experience with Solidworks or other 3D modeling software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a good attitude.

- HMI Programming
- Robotics (Fanuc/Yamaha/IAI)
- Vision system programming and troubleshooting
- Experience with FMEA and other production control documentation.
- Experience with six sigma/lean
- 4-year degree in manufacturing, electrical, or mechanical engineering or related field.
- Experience with continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
