Pay Rate: $56,559 - $75,370 plus bonus, depending on background and experience.

The purpose of this job is to offer an exclusive service that provides compelling benefits and one-to-one concierge support that elevates the Guitar Center shopping experience.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:
* Outgoing / Cold calls to potential clients/customers (Talent, Artists, etc.).
* Network with current client base to identify new/in-need potential customers or businesses. Utilize the in-store network to bring in new B2B customers.
* Conduct one-to-one needs assessment in-store, at client location, or via phone.
* Visit local clients' venues/locations to assess potential sales needs, research potential business opportunities, etc.
* Partner with in-store Sales and Operations teams to ensure client orders are fulfilled on time. As well, continuously collaborate with internal teams to better understand fulfillment operations (logistics, timelines, etc.).
* Partner with internal sales resources (GC Pro; Music & Arts; Distribution Centers; Support Center, etc.) to provide customers with the best possible support and solutions. Hand off sales over to other groups as needed.
* Meet with Direct Manager to provide updates on activities, results, and potential sales leads.
* Create and curate events that drive traffic into the stores, market the GC brand, and raise brand awareness outside normal GC Advertisement processes.
* Additional duties as assigned.
To join our band you'll need the following experience:
* Bachelor's Degree (or 4 years of equivalent work experience), preferably in Communication, Business, Marketing, or related field
* Valid state driver's license and automotive insurance
* Ability to acquire work/travel documents (i.e., passport and visa) as required by various countries
* 6 years of relevant work experience (in addition to degree or years of previous experience) within a consultative, outside sales, or needs-based selling environment
* Strong knowledge of the music industry and of musicians in all genres (Rock, Americana, Hip-hop, Broadway, Jazz, Classical, etc.)
* Intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Intermediate proficiency with standard business applications such as the internet and email
* Intermediate proficiency with social media
