Description
We are seeking an experienced Area Director of Revenue Management to lead revenue strategies for multiple flagship properties, including Hilton Milwaukee, The Pfister Hotel, and Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel. You’ll bring your expertise in multi-property revenue management and digital marketing to optimize performance and profitability.
- Revenue Strategy Development: Develop and implement tailored pricing, distribution, and business mix strategies to maximize revenue potential across diverse properties.
- Market Sales Leadership: Distribute daily market sales strategies, maintain pace reporting, and drive pricing and market positioning to stay ahead of the competition using STR and Travelclick insights.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with General Managers, fellow Commercial Leaders (Director of Sales and Director of Marketing) hotel ownership, asset managers, and third-party partners (OTAs, MetaSearch platforms) to ensure optimal performance and alignment.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Lead weekly and monthly forecasts, create annual budgets, and maintain rolling 12-day forecasts to support operational efficiency and decision-making.
- Digital Marketing Oversight: Manage and optimize digital placements through channels such as Expedia, Booking.com, and MetaSearch to ensure hotel visibility and drive bookings.
- Operational Partnership: Collaborate with front office teams to ensure sell-out efficiency and maximum revenue opportunities, particularly for day-of sales.
- Package Creation & Promotions: Design seasonal specials, packages, and promotions in coordination with marketing to drive targeted revenue during peak periods.
- Business Travel & Contract Management: Monitor and analyze business travel and crew contract production, comparing monthly and yearly trends to ensure consistent growth.
We are searching for a driven, analytical, and collaborative revenue leader who can manage complex, multi-property strategies. The ideal candidate has:
- Proven Expertise: At least 4-6 years of revenue management experience, with a strong track record overseeing multiple properties and markets.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Proficiency in creating accurate forecasts, interpreting key reports (STR, Travelclick), and making data-backed decisions that optimize revenue.
- Relevant Education: A 2-year degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Hospitality Management plus 6 years of relevant experience; OR a 4-year degree in the same fields with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Relationship Management: Skilled at managing relationships with OTAs, third-party sites, and property stakeholders to ensure hotel visibility and profitability.
- Strategic Communication: Adept at communicating complex strategies and results to ownership, asset managers, and on-property teams.
