The Area Director, West, will be responsible for overseeing multiple Tree House locations. These include our large taproom and cans-to-go operation at our production facility in Charlton, taproom and event hub in Deerfield, farm taproom in Woodstock, and upcoming taproom in the heart of Saratoga Springs.
This full-time position requires weekly travel between the dedicated Tree House locations listed above. The Area Director is expected to work nights, weekends, holidays, and any days with operational significance (events, concerts, etc.).

- Responsible for maintaining the highest product quality which is ingrained in our brand promise ensuring that those responsible uphold our standards for our products downstream.
- Responsible for the strategic direction of their Tree House territory, overseeing business decisions for the properties.
- Responsible for overall financial health of the territory’s business units, ensuring consistent, profitable growth by identifying short term and long term strategies and action plans for all locations in the territory.
- Constantly on the pulse of the territory units’ P&L, COGs, labor versus sales, and other standard business metrics
- Remains nimble while achieving operational and financial goals in a dynamic environment
- Developing, implementing, and auditing of quality control standards and ensuring uniform adherence to quality control standards within all territory units
- Understanding of and adherence to existing efficiency standards, reviewing and auditing regularly
- Identifying operational, personnel, and skillset needs to improve and advance the business units and guiding location managers to proposition for their teams’ advancement
- Facilitating rapport with the towns and municipalities in which territory units reside, allowing for Tree House’s success as needed with permits, town allowances, etc.
- Identifying and providing data-driven proposals for operational, financial, and personnel adjustments within territory business units for Tree House’s success

- Leading and upholding accountability for themselves and all direct and indirect reports - from policies to best practices, the Hospitality Director will enforce the standards of the business at all times. This position provides support to all direct and indirect reports without removing its own responsibility to both positive and negative outcomes as it relates to all actions, decisions, and deliverables for its department. The Director owns mistakes and shares successes.

Role Requirements:
- 10+ years of Retail/Hospitality experience overseeing multiple business units
- Proven ability to lead effectively through high-pressure situations and high-volume operations
- Demonstrated knowledge of managing compliance, ordering, budgets, forecasting, inventory and labor
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Reliable transportation for weekly travel between all territory units
- Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with other employees, leadership, guests, and vendors
The starting base salary range for this position is $110,000-125,000 annually. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Base salary is only one component of the total compensation package, as this role is eligible for participation in the company growth bonus program and a robust benefit package.
