As we continue to grow, we’re seeking an experienced Architectural Sales Representative with deep expertise in windows to join our client's dynamic team.
Job Summary: As an Architectural Sales Representative specializing in windows, you will play a key role in driving sales and building strong relationships with architects, builders, and contractors. You’ll serve as the go-to expert on our window products, helping clients select solutions that meet their design, functionality, and budget requirements. This position is perfect for a motivated, detail-oriented professional with a knack for sales and a strong understanding of the architectural and construction industries.
Key Responsibilities:

Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow market share for window products in both residential and commercial projects.

Build Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and other industry professionals to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Product Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert on the company’s window offerings, including materials, performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with building codes.

Consultation & Solutions: Collaborate with clients to understand project needs and recommend the best window solutions to meet specifications, budgets, and timelines.

Presentations & Training: Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and presentations for clients, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions.

Market Research: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the building materials or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of window products, materials, and applications.
- Must have a book of contacts with at least 50 architects in Southeast Michigan.
- Established relationships with builders and contractors (preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and specifications.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed within the territory.
