Architectural Historian - Opus Services

Chance for an Architectural Historian to make a huge impact on a team of pros. Looking for an Architectural / Archaeological Historian interested in driving projects in the Civil Engineering world. Great culture with a manager who supports growth for the team, and provides lots of autonomy to complete projects and work the way it should be done. Fun civil and historic preservation projects across Transportation and NEPA related work, Bridges, environmental and ecological projects, trails & greenways, aviation & airport projects, water resource projects. Manager and company treat employees like adults with a large amount of schedule flexibility. Work from home 2 days per week if desired.

Salary target of $60-75K, plus strong bonus and profit-sharing program, 401k, excellent insurance benefits.

REQUIRED:

• Strong interest in architectural historic preservation, research, evaluation, and related study and work
• Masters’s Degree in History, Historic Preservation, Archeology, Architecture, or related discipline
• Excellent communication and writing skills

DESIRED:

• Knowledge of Section 106 compliance related to Indiana Historic Bridge related requirements
