**Role Overview:**
Lead Application Support Engineer specializing in distributed systems and enterprise applications. Focus on maintaining critical production environments while driving technical improvements and automation initiatives.
**Core Responsibilities:**
- Critical incident management and resolution
- Production monitoring and support
- Disaster recovery execution and documentation
- Process automation and enhancement

**Required Technical Skills:**
- 4+ years Distributed Application Support
- Java/J2EE ecosystem experience
- Unix, Linux, Windows environments
- SQL/PLSQL proficiency
- Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Monitoring tools (Splunk, DynaTrace)
**Preferred Experience:**
- Container platforms (OpenShift)
- Enterprise databases (DB2, Oracle, Snowflake)
- Middleware (Tomcat, WebSphere)
- Message queuing systems
- Mainframe operations
- Automation tools
**Education:**
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
6+ years relevant technical experience
