Application Developer Intern

The Applications Developer will design and develop applications and processes, both as part of a team and individually, in support of the company’s business operations.

Essential Duties:

• Work with stakeholders to compile business requirements and translate them into application features.
• Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications.
• Design and develop applications according to specifications.
• Ensure security of applications and the data they contain, and compliance with all regulations and company policies.
• Perform unit and integration testing.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing with end users and stakeholders.
• Deploy applications within the selected infrastructure.
• Maintain, support, and enhance existing applications in service.
• Proactively evaluate existing applications to add new features, improve user experience, etc.
• Manage time on multiple projects with varying deadlines.
• Participate in regular meetings with members of the IT team to discuss ongoing projects.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Information Systems, Management Information Systems or relevant field, or equivalent relevant experience. 
• Experience with Object-Oriented programming

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with programming in C#, ASP.NET or .NET Core.
• Familiarity with SQL queries
• Familiarity with cloud deployment such as AWS, Azure, etc
