Fuss Free AC is seeking one full time Technician with both Appliance and HVAC experience to diagnose and do repairs of appliances and Service/Maintenance/Installation of AC units for residential customers in Jacksonville, FL. The job is in Jacksonville and other surrounding areas. Must have 4 to 10 years of both Appliance and Residential HVAC experience.

We Offer:

Great pay based on experience, our top guys earn $23 and $29 per hour.
Run your own company truck, we provide the vehicle with expenses paid.

Key Duties:

Service, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers.
Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of the AC systems.
Conduct all HVACR jobs in a prompt and professional manner.
Perform routine HVACR service or maintenance activities without direct oversight or on-site assistance.
Installing new hardware and complex products while ensuring that they work correctly and safely.
Diagnose and repair all types of appliances.
Educating the hardware users about the correct use and upkeep of their products.
Repairing broken-down or damaged equipment in the costumer’s home.
Travel to job sites in a service area and work with dispatch to ensure the schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of how to maintain, repair, diagnose and correctly install or replace equipment and machinery.
Strong knowledge of the industry and the general requirements of different equipment types.
Must read, write, and speak fluent English.
Valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record.
Valid social security number.
Must pass a background check and drug test.
EPA Certification is required.
OSHA 10 certification, is preferred but not required.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements:

Must be able to lift heavy objects to 50 lbs.
Be able to bend/stoop, squat/crouch, climb, kneel, and twist.
Must be able to climb ladders, work both inside and outside, and around moving equipment safely.
