Job DescriptionJob Description:
The Analyst, HR Operations Audit is responsible for assisting the HR Operations team with ensuring employee data integrity standards and monitoring of employment compliance practices. In addition, the Analyst will support conducting eligibility determination for a number of employee programs, provide ad-hoc reporting, and assist with troubleshooting employee provisioning issues.
Responsibilities
- Auditing
- Conducts global HR data integrity audits out of our core HR system (SAP) to ensure organizational and personnel data aligns with HR Operations data standards.
- Coordinates with HR business partners and HR Operations Employee Data Processing team to address and resolve data anomalies stemming from audits.
- Combines knowledge of HR system datasets and reporting to create new audits and determine data integrity defects.
- Conducts wage compliance analysis such as minimum wage and FLSA-exempt salaried threshold updates in accordance with government laws and partners with HR business partners and/or Compensation to update for impacted employees.
- Conducts union contractual increases in accordance with union collective bargaining agreements.
- Conducts or assists with employment compliance and employee program audits such as work authorization, New Jersey Conscientious Employee Protection Act (CEPA), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), production employee status checks, Comcast Political Action Committee (COMPAC), 25-year anniversary celebration, etc.
- Assists internal and external auditors with data requests.
- Conducts/assists with data cleanup exercises.
- Production Support
- Assists HR business partners with troubleshooting employee provisioning issues by identifying the root cause and coordinate with application product owners (e.g. CyberSecurity, Physical Security IT, Directory Services, Identity Management, Collaboration Engineering), to triage employee access issues or attribute discrepancies.
- Translates technical SAP attributes and downstream dataflows between HR Operations, HR business partners, and IT.
- Provides guidance to HR on running ad-hoc reports such as transactional analytics, timekeeping reporting, position management, and org structure elements.
- Assists HR business partners with employee service date questions.
- Projects/Process Improvements
- Creates dashboards to visualize volume and trend analysis of HR processes for presentation to leadership.
- Identifies opportunities and devises an action plan for audit enhancements and automation.
- Participates in HRIS-related projects such as systems testing support and assists in the development of documentation of processes and procedures.
- Recommends and/or supports process improvements and policy/program changes.
- Supports HR projects aimed at improving HR processes and systems, including but not limited to large-scale deployments.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Technology or equivalent relevant work experience
- 1+ year experience with data handling, querying, reporting, validation, and visualization using Excel and other reporting applications
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis using functions, lookups, pivot tables, calculations, and complex formulas
- 2+ years of HRIS related experience
- Intermediate to advanced expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience with SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) modules and/or SAP SuccessFactors talent modules
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools
- Effective written and verbal communication skills including ability to present and explain data and metrics to non-technical audiences
- Highly organized and ability to balance multiple assignments of competing priorities while managing to meet forecasted target dates
- Proven analytical, critical evaluation, and problem-solving skills
- Solid decision-making skills and ability to use professional judgment
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in performing work duties
- Demonstrates ability to answer questions and explain systems and processes to business partners
- Excellent interpersonal team skills, ability to communicate well with individuals in group settings, ability to communicate with diverse audiences from various backgrounds in a consultative manner
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
