Aircraft Manufacturing Technician at Engineering Resource Group

Description

• Permanent position for a Manufacturing Technician for assembly, sub-assembly, and final assembly for aerospace products.
• Assist our engineering group in new product development and integration into production.
• Work with his/her group on product improvement opportunities.
• Develop and or assist in the writing of assembly procedures, test procedures and test reports.
• Recommends and /or develops assembly and test fixtures.
• Operate lathes, milling machines, drill press, and other associated manufacturing machinery.
• Works with outside labs for quoting and or testing capabilities.
• Assist production assembly personnel with the transition of new product and or product improvements.
• Meets agreed upon goals and objectives in a timely manner.
• Interact with organizational team members and other departments in a professional manner.

Requirements

• Two year degree or certification in a related area or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a related technical area.
• Familiarity with assembly procedures, processes and tooling.
• Experience with operation of lathes, milling machines, drill press, etc.
• Strong knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, electronic control systems, components and valves.
• A&P Certification is REQUIRED (Airframe & Power Plant).
