About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to join the team in Kansas City, MO. In this role, you will lead a specialized team to ensure the airworthiness and compliance of all maintenance activities. Your leadership will drive efficient operations, uphold safety standards, and contribute to delivering on-time maintenance services that exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring high performance and compliance with ATS requirements.
- Oversee maintenance activities to ensure all work meets FAA and customer standards, ensuring airworthiness.
- Manage maintenance planning and material coordination to achieve efficient workflows and timely aircraft delivery.
- Promote a safe work environment by identifying and eliminating hazards while adhering to safety standards.
- Communicate effectively about aircraft status, schedules, and customer requirements.
- Mentor and train mechanics, providing feedback and recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct performance reviews and support team development with coaching and regular feedback.
What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of five (5) years of recent commercial aircraft maintenance or MRO experience (preferred).
- At least two (2) years of leadership experience in aircraft maintenance (preferred).
- An Airframe or Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification (required).
- Strong knowledge of FAA Part 121 and 91 regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional communication, project management, and team leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask across projects and effectively lead a team.
- Familiarity with MS Office, Oracle, AutoTime, and Gateway programs (a plus).
