Currently seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Controller in Colorado Springs, CO.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Seeking a highly motivated, yet flexible individual to be part of a fast-paced, fast-growing Aviation company consisting of mostly military special operators. By joining our team, you will find yourself working in a very “get-after-it” environment amongst highly capable, multi-tasking industry experts operating across the aviation services and business spectrums.
The Aircraft Maintenance Controller will be integrated with the Flight Operations Center, to serve as a liaison between the Operations and Maintenance Departments, and to coordinate maintenance efforts across all of the company's facilities and mobile operations. They will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Department leadership with long-term planning, and reacting to short-term emergency situations to ensure rapid response to operational requirements.
This position requires an experienced individual with knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance, logistics, and problem-solving, with a professional demeanor to work directly with employees from various departments to meet the needs of the company.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of four years total aviation maintenance experience is required
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License is preferred.
Civilian or military aviation maintenance technical school is preferred.
Will be required to pass drug, alcohol and background check(s).
Must be willing to work overtime and odd hours.
May be required to travel (CONUS)
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must be able to provide identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
SALARY:
Depends on experience and qualifications.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, sitting. May require lifting of objects whose weight may exceed 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail.
