Agricultural Heavy Equipment Manager
Gpac is seeking an experienced Agricultural Heavy Equipment Manager to lead our team and operations serving the farming and agricultural sector. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our agricultural equipment sales, rentals, service, and support.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the agricultural equipment sales team, providing leadership, coaching, and mentorship to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and initiatives to promote our agricultural equipment offerings and increase brand awareness within the farming community.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and suppliers to provide input on equipment specifications, features, and performance to meet the unique needs of agricultural customers.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for product enhancements, new equipment lines, or additional services.
- Oversee the agricultural equipment rental operations, ensuring efficient processes, proper maintenance, and maximum utilization of rental assets.
- Manage the agricultural equipment service and support team, ensuring timely repairs, preventive maintenance, and exceptional customer service.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key agricultural accounts, associations, and industry partners.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage budgets, and implement cost control measures to optimize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural equipment sales, service, or management roles.
- In-depth knowledge of agricultural machinery, equipment, and farming operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions.
- Familiarity with agricultural regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations, trade shows, and industry events.
- Must be able to relocate
