We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aggregate Sales Representative to join our team. As the Aggregate Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability by managing our aggregate product portfolio. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. You will work closely with our production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure the timely delivery of products and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance, development and continuous improvement of sales for our quarry business.
- Drive growth through a strong emphasis on developing opportunities and adding new business while maintaining existing accounts.
- Address customer concerns in collaboration with other functional areas.
- Maintain industry association relationships.
- Generate forecasts and annual sales budget.
- Implement strategic plan to build strong customer relationships and book of business.
- Proven track-record in sales of similar product desired.
- College degree preferred.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- 3 years of successful B2B sales in the aggregate industry preferred.
- Ability and desire to re-locate to the region
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategic plans.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage customer interactions and track sales performance.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Basic knowledge of our products and how they are used (i.e. pavement bases, concrete plants, asphalt plants, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of aggregate plant processing, quality control, scale house, and dispatch functions.
- Technology Capabilities - proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and internal systems.
- Ethics and integrity - comply with best practices, and strict compliance with the Company's Core Values and Code of Conduct.
- Safety - adhere to safety regulations (state, federal, company) while on site. Attend and speak at plant safety meetings.
