Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. We provide premium systems, services, and products for the Department of Defense, government agencies and commercial clients.
Seeking a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer to become an integral member of the engineering team dedicated to the development of military-grade electronics for the Common Weapon Launcher (CWL) system.
Duties and Responsibilities
This position is Hybrid / Flex
While on-site, you will be a part of the Manassas VA office.

Combined Salary Range
USD $107,520.00 - USD $119,280.00 /Yr.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and analyze components and electro-mechanical assemblies
- Create and maintain mechanical solid models and drawings
- Create and manage bills of material (BOM) within data management system
- Develop fixtures and equipment to support testing and production efforts
- Generate design and interface documentation
- Develop technical presentations, recommendations, and written communications to explain technical issues to program management and the Navy customer
- Participate in various technical and program meetings on a weekly basis
- Strong proficiency with SolidWorks modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
- Experience with ruggedized electronics packaging for shipboard applications a plus
- Experience with GD&T (ASME Y14.5) a plus
- Collaborative, creative thinker with experience leading complex projects
- Strong communication skills with ability to write technical papers and proposals
