Admissions Director-Nursing Home

Located in Flushing, NY

Salary: $80K - $130K *Based on experience*

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining all the documentation involved with the intake process
• Oversee the intake of new patients, including ensuring resources are available to manage care
• Supervise admissions staff and training them as needed
• Manage inquiry process
• Keep patients and families informed about the facility and its programs
• Maintain all information, such as agreements and contracts and keep them up to date
• Handle inquiry calls from hospitals, families, etc., and provide appointments that include a presentation, tour and closing.
• Maintain updated bed ability and facility services information

Qualifications:

• Must have current experience as an Admissions Director in long term care
• Must have long term care experience
• Must have a strong admissions background and knowledge of admissions processes
• Proven management & leadership skills
• Excellent written & verbal skills
