Seeking a Full-time Admissions Coordinator for our Long Term Care facility!
The Admissions Department is responsible for managing the customer flow, admissions process and marketing program for the Nursing Home. Responsibilities include assisting the marketing program for the healthcare services which assures stronger guest, referrer, and payor satisfaction, appropriate market penetration, positive public image, maximization of profitability and census goals.
Duties Include:
- Assess inquiries when necessary and respond to referrers within one hour when possible.
- Finds ways to meet or exceed census goals
- Assess PRI's & coordinate all components of the admission process with the interdisciplinary team.
- Meet with family and guest on day of admission and ensures appropriate preparation of room and introduction to nursing staff on the unit
- Work with administrator and staff to ensure consistent, effective admissions, discharge and transfer meetings
- Nurtures referral relationships through and aggressive, guest - oriented admission process
- Provide information to referral sources of guest progress as appropriate
- Works to initiate, nurture, and maintain contacts with physician, social workers, and discharge planners as valued customers to maximize referrals and facilitate admissions.
- Maintain the confidentially of all Resident information as per HIPAA and Corporate guidelines.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Knowledge of PCC, FCC Portal and Census Pro
- Ability to make great independent decisions
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Long-Term Care Experience Preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual Spanish (Required)
