**Alternate Locations:** Work from Home; Charlotte, NC (North Carolina); Dover, NH (New Hampshire); Fort Wayne, IN (Indiana); Omaha, NE (Nebraska); Phoenix, AZ (Arizona); Radnor, PA (Pennsylvania); US All Regions **Work Arrangement:** Hybrid/Flexible : Work at home and use the office as appropriate for in-person collaboration. **Relocation assistance:** is not available for this opportunity. **Requisition #:** 73968 **The Role at a Glance** As an Adminr II, Group Underwriting Support, you will perform and deliver on routine and non-routine quote set-up to support New Business Underwriting, including Quest set-up of quotes, census manipulation, and requotes. You will work independently while applying established group underwriting procedures and guidelines. You will be aligned regionally and will provide support across the business as needed, based on volume or staffing needs. **What you'll be doing** + Applies established underwriting guidelines to increasingly complex new business specifications on non-experienced rated cases to determine eligibility and pricing while working within the defined authority level matrix and pricing targets. + Reviews quoting information for completeness, gathers missing information from broker, determines plan design, and screens for eligibility. + Monitors quote requests and assists management in distributing requests to team. + Makes routine & non-routine decisions, applying limited but increasingly more discretion within role except for matters of significance which affect the business as a whole or a significant part of it, in accordance with established procedures & guidelines. + Applies expanded knowledge obtained from the role in increasingly more complex situations and continues to acquire more knowledge to apply in role. + Follows-up with appropriate internal/external stakeholders on quote requests to meet urgent deadlines. + Provides a diverse range of information and performs a diverse range of tasks/transactions related to common programs and services. + Delivers routine work independently, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, in a timely manner and meets deadlines appropriately. + Obtains needed increasingly complex information by communicating effectively with internal/external stakeholders while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions. + Escalates claims issues/concerns to senior team members (e.g. Sr. Administrator UW, Specialist, UW, Consultant, UW, etc.) and/or management. + Recognizes issues or concerns, explains effect on the customer's service experience and suggests process improvements. + Develops and maintains internal relationships with assigned distribution offices. + Adheres to documentation and reporting expectations. + Supports and promotes change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives **What we're looking for** _Must-Haves:_ + 2 - 3 Years of customer service experience and/or other experience within the financial services/insurance industry. + High School diploma or GED or minimum Associate degree in lieu of required experience. **Application Deadline** Applications for this position will be accepted through 12/8/2024 subject to earlier closure due to applicant volume. **What's it like to work here?** At Lincoln Financial Group, we love what we do. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role.
