Summary of Position:
As an Administrative Coordinator, you will enhance the executive team’s effectiveness by providing administrative support to assigned team members. Work proactively to anticipate and think ahead, often eliminating conflicts or issues before they arise. Perform routine and nonroutine clerical and administrative functions to ensure team members achieve business objectives. In this role, you will exhibit a high level of tact, integrity, and confidentiality as they work independently on a variety of projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:- Manage and monitor daily calendar and activities using Outlook and other tools, to include appointments, meetings, and travel.
- Create, edit, distribute correspondence, read and route incoming correspondence.
- Review and follow-up on critical correspondence, internal and external.
- Organize and maintain paper and electronic files.
- Support corporate programs and events.
- Populate and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files including, but not limited to documents, contacts, databases, etc.
- Additional activities related to meetings, expense reports, tours, and other items will be included as needed.
- Safeguard highly confidential information.
- Communicate effectively with other departments, ensuring information is presented in a timely manner.
- Perform other activities as assigned.
Education:
- Associate’s degree in Business, Management or related field
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience:
- Minimum four (4) years’ experience supporting senior-level management
- Experience in a corporate and manufacturing environment preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High level of customer service acumen
- Problem-solving expertise and ability to anticipate where attention is needed
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
- Computer skills in a MS windows environment; proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Critical eye for detail, supported by excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to travel infrequently as needed
