Talascend is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for a contract opportunity located in Kansas City, MO.
This position will generally be expected to be onsite at our West location (OP KS) or our Main (Botts location). Travel isnt required other than going to these locations each day.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs a variety of administrative functions.
- Schedules appointments, gives information to callers, and takes dictation.
- Composes memos, transcribes notes, and researches and creates presentations.
- Generates reports, handles multiple projects, and prepares and monitors invoices and expense reports.
- May assist with compiling and developing the annual budget.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- Works under general supervision.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Attention to detail, accuracy in what is included in interview invites is critical
- Organizational skills, need to be able to keep all the interview requests straight, follow up as needed with recruiter, hiring manager, etc.
- Professionalism, customer service with multiple stakeholders
- Agile / flexible / able to adapt easily, doesnt get flustered if/when things change
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, accuracy in spelling, grammar, etc.
- Requires a high school diploma with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
