Qualifications:
GED or BA Degree
Knowledge of Windows based software & programs, Microsoft office suite, Zoom __
Experience in staff capacity analyzing and making recommendations for solution of organization, systems and program challenges
One year in a responsible staff capacity in supporting a busy Department Chair with all administrative duties
Experience managing department Medical staff privileging and credentialing, academic affairs, dossier creation and maintenance, PCMH meeting coordination, communication and correspondence – both internal and external.
Experience communicating in a congenial manner on all levels, executive and administrative
Responsibilities:
Support the Department Chair by managing the PSA process, academic promotion and tenure, medical staff credentialing and privileging
Manage department functions in conjunction with Department administrator to including, but not limited to, faculty timekeeping, travel, and operations
Support Department Chair day to day with content creating, correspondence, reports, charts,
Represent Department Chair by communicating with faculty and staff to disseminate requirements
Assist the Department Administrator with office functions and responsibilities as assigned
Manage the academic affairs process to include promotion and tenure, editing dossiers, statements of effort
Manage scheduling of faculty and house staff using scheduling software
Produce written materials including Department newsletters, meeting minutes
Work with Department Administrator on faculty timekeeping, product ordering
Salary: $28/hr-$32/hr.
