- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years work experience
- Experience with Word and Excel
Preferred:
- Faulty affairs, academic planning or higher education experience
Job Summary/Description: an esteemed higher education institution is looking for a detail oriented coordinator to participate in the recruiting, hiring, promotion and appointment of faculty and staff. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Review faculty paperwork pertaining to appointments, re-appointments, non-appointments and retirement and resolve any discrepancies with applications prior to approval
- Organize orientation for new members
- Organize employee files and forms, prepare offer documents, faculty reports, marketing documents, orientation handouts and other clerical forms
- Maintain webpages
- Provide scheduling and logistical support for meetings
- Support purchasing for faculty including computers, books, equipment etc.
- Other support activities as necessary
